Designed to stop dampness and condensation, this handy little gadget is perfect for winter months when the weather takes a turn for the worse.

In a video uploaded onto TikTok by Michael Hickey, he reveals how he uses the handy humidifiers as the perfect way to get rid of condensation.

And with Michael often sleeping in his car, they become even more important for maintaining a healthy place to stay.

In the 11-second clip, he says: “This is a car camping must have to stop mould from forming while living in your car camper.

“It even comes with little hangers to hang on your handles.”

You can buy a pack of six for £9.90 on Amazon – working out to just £1.65 each.

In the product description, the humidifiers “remove the unpleasant, musty smell caused by moisture, and fragrance products leave a light, pleasurable scent in its place.”

And depending on temperature and condition, they can last up to 60 days.

Many buyers have expressed their delight at the cheap purchase.

One person said: The water they collect is amazing. No mould or odour.”

A second added: “I’ve bought two boxes of these and they’re amazing. They’re better than any electric dehumidifier I’ve bought so far.”

A third chimed: “I’ve been using these for the past few years and I couldn’t be happier with the results.”

Motorists have also realised that they can stop condensation on their windscreens using a 60p kitchen item.

Experts from Leasing Options shared the handy hack making use of a household essential.

And one motorist claims that filling a pair of socks up with silica cat litter is another way to stop your car windows from misting up with condensation.

Dave Hax took to TikTok to share a tutorial on how silica cat litter is extremely porous and effective at absorbing moisture around it.
