ANTHONY JOSHUA has revealed his “ambitious” 2024 fight plan that could see him face Deontay Wilder and THREE other opponents.

The star is currently preparing for action tonight in Saudi Arabia at the epic ‘Day of Reckoning’ event.

The epic card is co-headlined by heavyweight stars Joshua and Wilder and a host of other top names will also be in action.

AJ will take on Swede Otto Wallin while the Bronze Bomber is facing Joseph Parker.

And should Joshua and Wilder both emerge victorious as expected, then they look set to lock horns in the Middle East early next year.

Tonight will mark the end of the Watford star’s most active year since 2016 – when he first became world champion.

Following his successive losses to Oleksandr Usyk, Joshua returned to the ring in April to beat Jermaine Franklin via decision.

He followed that up by knocking out Robert Helenius in August.

The Brit is now aiming to make it three in a row by beating Wallin and then finally having his long-awaited showdown with Wilder.

However, he does not want his 2024 to be dominated just by that potential fight, he is planning to have his most active year to date since turning pro.

He told Matchroom Boxing: “I’m a fighter by nature. I look at myself in the mirror and all I see is a fighter. It’s just what I do.

“Whether I’m in camp or not, I’m always ready to fight.

“For me personally, inactivity is a great killer of ambition, so I made sure I’m staying active, I’m staying ambitious.

“The good thing about this card is that it shows you don’t really need long training camps.

“As long as you’re staying busy and active so next year I could actually get more busy.”

Joshua continued: “I tended to have this mindset where it was that three month camps are important to get ready for fights.

“This came around really quickly. I said three [fights] this year so I’m ticking that box off. Next year I might go for four.”

Elsewhere on today’s bumper card, Brit heavyweight Daniel Dubois will battle Jarrell Miller with tensions already high after an explosive weigh-in yesterday.

Dmitry Bivol meets Lyndon Arthur, Jei Opetaia fights Ellis Zorro and Agit Kabayel will be looking to shock the world and beat Arslanbek Makhmudov.
