As a gesture to their fans, the club announced that all fans in the stadium would be given free beer.
A message was displayed on the screens in the Parken Stadium, and supporters praised the move by the club.
One fan posted: “That is awesome.”
A second wrote: “What a time to be a Copenhagen fan.”

Neestrup told club media: “So I am happy and proud on behalf of the players, the fans and every corner of Copenhagen. This also means a lot for Danish football.

“An evening like this in Parken… well, I’ve said it many times before, and I’d like to say it again.
“Parken can do something special in these evenings, which you don’t see in many other places in Europe.
“That support really means a lot when we go onto the field, and again tonight we are 12 against 11.
“|It’s no coincidence that we have picked up six points in the group here and were very close to a seventh against Bayern.”
