Why isn’t Ben Chilwell in the England squad for World Cup 2022?
SunSport revealed that Ben Chilwell will miss the tournament after feeling his hamstring ‘pop’ during Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League.
The full-back pulled up during the final stages of the match where he was pictured grimacing in pain while being helped off by the medical team.

And scan results showed that Chilwell will remain sidelined for a number of months – a sizeable chunk on the rest of his season.

Chilwell took to social media to report on his devastating injury and to thank fans for their moral support.

“It has always been a dream of mine. Unfortunately, this won’t be possible following my scan results.
