But the event in Newark, Delaware could have gone horribly wrong as a fan tried to confront Waller.

The 33-year-old was walking around the ring ahead of the fight when a man from the crowd wearing a white T-shirt and dark pants jumped the barriers next to him.

Security quickly jumped on the scene and tackled the fan to the floor.

He was then taken away by staff and booted out of the arena.

Waller saw the man being removed by security and approached him, appearing to say something.

A WWE worker then pushed him away and he continued to get the crowd going seemingly unfazed.

Footage of the incident hit social media with fans left concerned.

One said: “Hopefully this doesn’t become a thing.”

Another added: “2023 and fans still feel they need to hop the rails.”

Others praised Waller for continuing with the show, where he eventually won the fight against Grimes and Jones.
