MANCHESTER UNITED fans have been left raving about The Stone Roses, though it isn’t for their music.
The Stones Roses were an influential group in the “Madchester” era of music in the late 1980s with members of the rock group Man Utd fans themselves.

And now Man Utd and kit manufacturer Adidas are set to pay homage to this influence in the form of a new football kit.
According to Footy Headlines, a collaboration with The Stones Roses has engineered the creation of a brand new football kit.
However, it will not be what the Red Devils wear during games.
Instead, it will be a pre-match shirt used in 2024.
The kit sees the club badge combined with the logo of The Stones Roses, giving the Red Devils crest a stone colour.
This is paired with an all-over black graphic pattern.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan said on the kit: “That is sexy.”
A second said: “Looks good.”
A third said: “Pretty cold Tbf.”
Another said: “I’ve gotta cop that.”
A fifth said: “That would have made a nice away or third shirt.”
While another said: “One for the collection I think, quite like this.”
A release date for the shirt is expected in early 2024, though a December 2023 release has not been ruled out.
Man Utd have used The Stone Roses single “This is the One” as their walkout music before every home game for the last 34 years.
