Cheapest place to buy Cadbury’s advent calendars this week for just £1.50

CHOCOHOLICS can now pick up a Cadbury’s Dairy Milk advent calendar for just £1.50 but you’ll need to get your skates on.

Tesco is currently selling the festive item at a rock bottom price but the money saving deal ends at midnight on Thursday.

In order to bag the deal fans will need to have a Clubcard as without it the price goes up to £2, according to the price comparison site Trolley.co.uk.

The chocolate is fine for vegetarians but anyone with a nut allergy is advised to steer clear.

If you don’t have a Tesco near you or don’t want to sign up for their reward card, the next cheapest place is Asda who is selling the same product for £1.85.

Mums and dads with two or more kids may want to check out Ocado.

While the online delivery service is currently selling the advent calendar for £2, they currently have a deal of two boxes for £3, working out at £1.50 each.

Iceland and Sainsbury’s are both currently selling the calendars for the usual price of £2 each.

Hopping online to give a five-star review was one happy shopper who wrote: “I think we’ve had one of these since time began! I love that they now have foil over them so they don’t taste stale.”

Although, if online comments are to be believed, the Cadbury’s advent calendar has been cheaper recently.

Over on Hotukdeals.co.uk, two people went online to say that just over a week ago Morrisons was selling them for just £1.35.

One person wrote: “Morrisons the cheapest I have seen. Was £1 last year £1.35 this year – 35 per cent increase.”

While another shopper said they were holding their nerve in the hope the supermarkets dropped their price to £1.

Meanwhile, Tesco Clubcard holders have been warned there are £16million worth of Clubcard points due to expire after November 30.

Fans of Cadbury’s chocolate have been going wild over a new flavour of mini eggs hitting the shelves.

Elsewhere, these are the 10 lost chocolate bars Brits still mourn for.
