I live in a converted AMBULANCE – I bought it at 4am on Facebook Marketplace so I could live alone off-grid

A GENIUS young man converted an ambulance he found on Facebook Marketplace at 4am into a liveable motorhome completely off-grid.

The ambulance has a shower, freezer, packed wardrobe and even a big double bed in it and came at a very cheap price with hardly any bills.

The man we see in the video named his new home Lance and finally gave his viewers a glimpse into the impressive conversion project the social media star has been working on.

Inside the motor there is a big double bed and a counter top cooking area complete with a stove.

There is a working freezer drawer full of tasty snacks and a pretty large pantry with even more goodies stored inside.

As its an ambulance there is obviously a nice seat where typically the paramedic would use but he keeps it spare for any visitors to use now.

Towards the back of the ambulance, near the double doors, the innovative individual has his placed wardrobe with everything from a bucket of shoes to a self titled beanie dispenser where the influencer keeps his extensive range of hats.

To make the van feel more like a home there is a range of polaroids littered around the place and some self made artwork of a mountain range.

As we venture outside of his motorhome the man shows off his near endless storage compartments with everything from hiking gear to a fully working microwave.

The front of his home has a bobblehead style skeleton skull on it to really set it apart from other ambulances to stop anyone coming to him for serious medical attention.

To stay clean he’s set up a makeshift shower which is really just a really effective hosepipe cleverly placed around the door frame so it hangs down from the perfect angle.

The funny story of how an ambulance ended up in the middle of the woods with a young man living out of it starts at 4am with him scrolling through Facebook Marketplace.

From there he spotted an old lady who was selling the emergency motor and snapped it up for a bargain at just $9,000.

After completing the conversion he was down another $8,000 but now with a complete home and very little bills to pay it was a very pleasing experience to know the gamble certainly paid off.

Up to 14 people can be squeezed into the home making it much more spacious than most people would imagine.

Living in a motor has become more popular over the last few years with people showing off their new lives on social media.

Richard Monkton took his TikTok subscribers on a tour of his home which happens to be in his van.

Monkton loves his rent free life where he pays no bills and has complete freedom even if some want to hate on him for it.

Australian-based influencer Maddison Cate moved with her family from their house to live in the van.

She explains on her channel the reason for moving the family into the van was to have ‘more adventure and freedom’ in their lives.

See how another TikToker converted an old Land Rover into a fully functioning campervan.
