In the clip, he explained how he went about transforming the van on a shoestring budget.
He was in Alaska to see his son and rented a U-haul van, which he decked out to turn into an “apartment on wheels”.
Bobby ran viewers through the “essentials of van living” and how to create their own mobile home.
He said: “You want to replicate the four primary functions of a house…you sleep, you’ve got to eat…you have to go to the bathroom…finally you have leisure and work and recreation.
“You really want to get organised right from the beginning.”
To achieve this he went around the local charity shops, sporting goods stores and budget supermarkets to get everything he needed.
First of all, he picked up a camping bed for £94, topped with a £14 sleeping mat.
He advised stocking up with blankets, which you may already own, to make sure you have plenty of layers of insulation.
For the purposes of the video, he bought two covers, totalling £14 together.
The bedroom was filled out with a £5 storage unit and a £19 chest of drawers, both made out of plastic, as well as a filing cabinet for £7.
There was even more storage under the bed by way of large plastic buckets, each only costing a couple of pounds.
The bathroom was a little less sophisticated, with a five-gallon bucket and some wet wipes serving as a toilet and a washing-up bowl as a basin.
That led straight into the kitchen section, with a camping stove and a couple of cheap pots and pans more than enough to keep you well-fed.
Finally, he was able to pick up a folding chair and table to allow him to set up outside the van in sunny weather and even enjoy some al fresco dining.
Bobby concluded: “There you go, a complete essentials van build for not much money.
“You can get the essentials…for really cheap.
“I didn’t cut a single board, I didn’t drive a single nail. I went out, bought some stuff, threw it in there and now I’ve got a really comfortable home.”
Not only that, but by living in a van like that you could end up saving thousands in rent and utility bills.
It comes after a TikToker turned a beaten-up Land Rover into a fully insulated home with mod cons.
Meanwhile, you have a high driving IQ if you can spot the car with its headlights on in a new optical illusion.
