Brad Pitt’s feelings on son Pax’s Instagram rant revealed by friends

Brad Pitt‘s friends have reportedly revealed how the 59-year-old feels about details of his adoptive son’s Instagram rant about him.

The Instagram Story allegedly shared by Pax Jolie-Pitt on Father’s Day in 2020 was published by Daily Mail on Tuesday, more than three years after it was initially posted.

Pax, now 19, shared a shot of the actor accepting his Oscar just months earlier, calling his famous dad a “world-class a**hole” in the explosive post.

Pitt has reportedly found it “depressing to see this dragged up”, according to friends who spoke to UK newspaper The Sun.

The anonymous member of Pitt’s inner circle labelled it “frustrating” to see him painted as the bad guy when he has “great respect for all of his children” and “chooses to keep a dignified silence” about them, claiming it “speaks volumes”.

However, other sources also claiming to be close to the Oscar-winning actor, tell US publication Page Six they don’t believe the reports of his reaction are true.

“This is just unfortunate that people would keep trying to bring kids into things,” the insider allegedly told the American publication.

“It’s been a long seven years and it’s unfortunate when people unnecessarily raise issues from so far in the past … and don’t take into consideration the impact it has on the whole family.”

Pitt and actress Angeline Jolie, now 48, first got together after starring in the 2005 blockbuster Mr & Mrs Smith and the pair wed in front of their six children in 2014.

Following a well-publicised incident on a plane in 2016, the couple’s fairytale romance ended, with Jolie filing for divorce and a bitter custody battle playing out in the courts.

In addition to Pax, the couple also share adopted children Maddox, now 22, and Zahara, now 18, as well as their three biological children – Shiloh, 17, and twins Vivenne and Knox, 15.

It was reported last week that Zahara dropped her hyphenated surname, with the teenager introducing herself as “Zahara Marley Jolie” at a sorority induction ceremony at Spelman College, which was attended by her mum and older brothers.

This was swiftly followed by news of Pax’s explosive rant published by Daily Mail on Tuesday.

“You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell,” Pax reportedly wrote.

“You time and time and again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person.”

He said Pitt had “no consideration or empathy toward your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence”.

“You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you’re incapable of doing so,” Pax continued.

“You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want but the truth will come to light someday.”

Adding sarcastically: ”So Happy Father’s Day, you f—ing awful human being.”

The publication said it had verified the private Instagram account belonged to Pax but did not say why it had only now been shared publicly.

Neither Pitt nor Jolie have personally responded to the publishing of Pax’s alleged post.
