More people discover hundreds of free bonus channels as millions of Samsung TV owners receive big upgrade

MORE people are realising that Samsung TVs have a treasure trove of free channels.

And the tech giant is planning a big upgrade to make them even easier to discover.

The firm has revealed that its growing Samsung TV Plus service has seen more than a 60 per cent jump in year-over-year viewers across the world.

It features hundreds of free ad-based channels available without needing a subscription.

Not only is it available on Samsung smart TVs but also Samsung phones, Samsung smart devices and even Samsung refrigerators.

It’s available on 535million devices globally across TV and mobile across 24 countries.

Now the company is planning to roll out a new version of Samsung TV Plus that makes it faster to find the content you want.

There’s a refreshed home screen with discoverability features.

And Samsung has added a dedicated kids experience to connect consumers with ‘Best of Kids’ programming across over family-friendly channels.

Music fans also have a dedicated section.

The UK has more than 100 channels available already with some Christmas themed stations recently added.

In the US, there are now more than 300 channels.
