GREGGS lovers are warming their sausage rolls, pies and bakes on their car heaters and radiators.
They reckon the gentle temperature is far better than putting them in the oven or nuking them in the microwave.

One fan put a picture online showing a pastry product resting on a household radiator and wrote: “Asked my dad why he doesn’t just use the microwave to warm the sausage roll but apparently it’s ‘not the same’ and there’s an ‘art to it’, so here we are.”
One reply said: “Yep, I’ve done this for years. The oven kills them.”
Another snap showed a pasty being warmed on a car dashboard.
The caption said: “This is multi-tasking at its best — doing the morning commute while getting to my job, with brekkie ready when I get there.”
One of the comments said: “Microwave sends pastry soggy so this is a good idea.”
Another said: “Put mine on the heater vents on my van, works every time.”
And another said: “Works like a charm on Greggs mince pies as well, thank me later.”
One Greggs connoisseur added: “If you use microwaves try changing the power level, it will keep anything from gaining moisture. I always heat food up at 30 to 50 per cent power.”
Another commenter advised high street foodie regulars: “The oven dries up the grease in the sausage roll, and the microwave makes the pastry soggy, so stick them on a radiator. Always works for me.”
And another said: “In the ’70s I worked in a drawing office. I had a special 100W bulb in my drawing board lamp specifically to warm up sausage rolls after the ‘bun run’ to the on-site canteen. Delicious!”
