Tyson Fury’s promoter Frank Warren reveals ‘historical’ fight planned for December 23 with Brit boxers in Saudi Arabia

TYSON FURY’S promoter Frank Warren has revealed boxing fans are in for a treat with a “historical” fight in Saudi Arabia next month.

Fury was set to take on Oleksandr Usyk on December 23, but has seen the fight delayed due to his close run affair with Francis Ngannou in October.

Nobody was expecting the MMA star to push Fury so far and after knocking The Gypsy King down during the fight, Fury has needed more time to recover before he faces Usyk.

But boxing fans don’t have to worry as Warren has revealed there is still set to be a “massive” fight night on December 23.

Speaking on TalkSPORT, he said: “There’s gonna be a big night in December, we’ll be announcing it very soon and it will be massive.

“You’re gonna love it, I promise you you’re gonna love it.

“I can’t give you all the information at the moment, but everything’s going in the right direction for something to be a historical night of boxing.”

He went on to say: “It’s gonna feature boxers from all over the world. You will be surprised by the names.

“There’s some great fights involving British fighters too.”

The exciting event is sure to wet the appetite for the title showdown between Usyk and Fury on the horizon.
