CARRYING luggage can be really irritating, but it might not be something passengers have to worry about for much longer.
Budget airline, easyJet, has launched a brand new door-to-door luggage collection service that cuts out the need to lug suitcases to the airport.

The service has been launched in partnership with baggage collection and delivery specialists, Airportr.
It allows travellers to check their luggage in from home and skip bag drop on departure.
Instead, they need to specify a designated pick-up point for the luggage, which will be collected by an accredited driver.
It will then be found on the baggage belt on arrival at their destination.
It’s been introduced following research that revealed 40 per cent of easyJet customers would be interested in these services when travelling to and from their flight.
Currently the service is on offer to passengers flying from London Gatwick and Geneva.
It’s available to passengers on all easyJet flights from the two airports, with prices for collection and drop off starting at £37.
People flying into Geneva can also arrange a bag drop off service, preventing the need to collect their luggage once they arrive.
Instead, it will be delivered to their designated drop off spot by a driver, who will pick it up from the airport on their behalf.
EasyJet’s chief commercial officer Sophie Dekkers said: “We are always looking at how we can innovate with the products and services we offer to ensure we are providing more of the choices our customers want.
“We are excited to be introducing Airportr’s services initially from London Gatwick and Geneva, to help make travel even easier for our customers, whether they are flying for business or leisure.”
Airportr chief executive Randel Darby added: “Today’s announcement that we’re launching Airportr across two of EasyJet’s top tier airports marks another significant step forward for off-airport baggage management.
“Travellers continue to prioritise speed and convenience and are increasingly turning to off-airport processes to achieve it.
“As an airline, easyJet is committed to getting their customers through the airport faster, whilst delivering the best experience when travelling with baggage.
“We’re delighted that Airportr can support easyJet on this mission, with bag-free travel now possible to, through and from airports.”
Airportr’s services can also be used on flights from Heathrow airport with airlines including British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, American Airlines and Singapore Airlines.
Meanwhile, this airline allows passengers to rent clothes so they don’t need to bring their own.
