MANCHESTER UNITED’S clash with Copenhagen was stopped after a fan collapsed beside the pitch.
The Champions League match got halted after 12 minutes with the Red Devils leading 1-0.

Play had already been paused as Jonny Evans was helped off the field by the physio after picking up an injury.
And after the Northern Irishman had already gone off, Copenhagen fans and stewards urgently called for aid when they noticed the supporter in need of help.
A screen was put up around the spectator as they received emergency medical attention.
Then paramedics walked across the pitch to the far side carrying a stretcher to the fan.
TNT Sports’ commentator updated fans for the reason of the ongoing stoppage – which lasted seven minutes in total – as players kept warm by kicking footballs around.
Applause went around the Parken Stadium in Denmark’s capital city before play continued on 19 minutes.
The incident happened at the same ground as Christian Eriksen’s cardiac arrest in 2021.
The Manchester United midfielder – who started for United tonight – suffered his terrifying health scare while playing for Denmark in Euro 2020.
It is understood the stadium announcer announced the fan involved in the worrying scenes “is awake and well after the circumstances”.
Fans watching from home still sent their best wishes to the stricken supporter.
One said: “Prayers they are okay!”
Another wrote: “Hope the Copenhagen fan is ok.”
A third added: “It’s always scary when something like this happens.”
The fan emergency was the second time play was stopped during the opening minutes of the Group A match.

A supporter invaded the pitch and ran around carrying a Palestine flag.
When the ball was in play, Rasmus Hojlund fired United into a 2-0 lead inside 28 minutes.
But after Marcus Rashford was shown a straight red card on 42 minutes, the game swung completely.
Mohamed Elyounoussi pulled on back with 45 minutes on the clock before Diogo Goncalves equalised from the penalty spot in the ninth of 13 minutes of first-half injury time.
