KING CHARLES will deliver the first King’s Speech in decades today as he sets out Rishi Sunak’s “vision of a better Britain.”
The PM will put law and order at the centre of the agenda as King Charles opens parliament for the first time since becoming monarch.
Charles’ speech will begin at around 11:30am and will see Rishi Sunak set out his mission statement for the years to come as he aims to get voters on side.
As always, the state opening of parliament will be filled with all the royal pomp and pageantry Brits have come to expect over the years.
The King, joined by Queen Camilla, will travel in a carriage procession from Buckingham Palace to the House of Lords in the Diamond State Coach.
