HEINZ has launched a brand new ketchup flavour, but some fans aren’t convinced that it’s a good idea.
The new Heinz tomato ketchup pickle landed on shelves at Tesco stores nationwide today priced at £3.99.

Heinz describe it has the “perfect condiment to take you home cooked meal to takeaway heaven”.
While some fans are excited to try the new flavour, others are unconvinced.
Writing on Facebook, one user said” Something fundamentally wrong there.”
While another said: “I want my ketchup to take like ketchup and my pickles to taste like pickles.”
And a third said: “It’s too early for April fools’”
But some social media users were excited by the launch with one saying, “Imma have to find that”, while another said it was “worth a try”.
Thiago Rapp, head of Heinz comms and Brand build at Heinz said: “We know there are lots of pickle fans out there, so it made sense to bring two of the nation’s favourite flavours, Heinz Tomato Ketchup and tangy pickle, together.
“We’ve been hard at work perfecting the best recipe and we’re sure you’re going to love it. It’s dill-licious.”
This new launch comes just weeks after Heinz revealed a tomato ketchup pasta sauce.
The sauce comes in a proper glass jar, but with the same look and branding as a classic bottle of ketchup, and will costs £2.50 at Tesco.
It was met with outrage on social media, with several users apologising to Italians for the controversial recipie.
Heinz responded to the outrage on social media, saying: “We know Brits often take to social media to air their view on this seemingly controversial use of ketchup and it might upset a few Italians.
“But right or wrong, here at Heinz, we think Ketchup goes with everything!”
Earlier this year we also revealed shoppers were only just realising the Heinz Beanz pizza had returned after being discontinued 20 years ago.
