Lewis said: “You can get the Ikea family card which gives you free tea or filter coffee, which you normally pay a pound for.
“And everyone who is with you can get it.
“That only works on weekdays.”
He continued: “Then you’ve got the Waitrose, My Waitrose loyalty card which gives you free tea or coffee, Americano, cappuccino… from the self-service machines.
“You have to make a purchase though.”
He added: “Do what I call a ‘banana swipe’.
“A ‘banana swipe’ is where you have to make a purchase in a supermarket to get something else.
“Basically, you just buy a banana because that’s usually the cheapest supermarket item you can buy.
“So get yourself a My Waitrose card, do a banana swipe and get yourself a free tea or coffee.”
“You can get one a day and if you don’t fancy one why not give it to someone sleeping outside.”
It comes after the money saving expert revealed how to claim £205 free cash from major UK bank.
