On a beach in Cancun in 1995, Pam and Tommy said ‘I do’ after spending just 96 hours together as a couple.
Pamela Anderson had been with Tommy Lee for four days before the pair tied the knot in an intimate oceanside ceremony.
Just eight people were present to see the Baywatch star wed the heavy metal drummer barefoot on the sand in a white bikini.

Their love story would turn sour years later with Pammy filing for divorce after claims of physical abuse.
But the pair’s whirlwind wedding was something to be taken straight out of a fairytale.
While from the outside their romance was a whirlwind, it seemed to be love at first sight for the American musician.
“The first thing he said to me was ‘I’m going to marry you’.” Anderson told Larry King in 2002.
“And I said, ‘What, no one’s ever said that to me in a first sentence.'”
Before eloping in Cancun, the pair had briefly met just six weeks earlier at a nightclub on Hollywood’s sunset strip.

Anderson met Lee on New Year’s Eve in 1994 at the nightclub Sanctuary where she told Movieline magazine that year that the drummer had licked her face.
“I thought he was a cool, friendly, nice guy. I gave him my number,” she told the magazine.
Speaking to The New York Post in 2021, the blonde beauty recalled just weeks later the musician calling her on the phone and wanting to meet up.
Anderson was heading to Mexico for a photoshoot when she got the call from Lee.
”‘You’re going without me?'” Anderson claimed Lee responded.

“I begged him not to come down there. He said, ‘OK. See you later.’ I thought it was a weird way for the conversation to end.”
Anderson turned out to be right on the mark as Lee jetted to Cancun to surprise the model at her hotel, the Ritz-Carlton.
The model later told King in 2022 that she had found Lee’s grand gesture to be “romantic”.
But Lee wouldn’t be allowed into the hotel. Instead, the pair had their first date at a bar in Cancun.
The famed couple would quickly fall in love over three days before the musician decided to pop the question.

In his band Mötley Crüe’s 2001 autobiography, The Dirt, Lee recalled proposing to the Baywatch star at a disco in Mexico called La Boom.
The proposal was understated and sweet as Lee revealed: “I took off my pinky ring, put it on her finger and asked her to marry me.”
“She said yes, hugged me and stuck her tongue down my throat.”
After the proposal, it was a quick 24-hour turnaround to the couple’s barefoot idyllic wedding on the Cancun beachfront.
According to Lee, the couple had managed to get a marriage license and asked Ritz-Carlton staff to track down an officiant for the ceremony.
“We gave blood, sniffed out a marriage license and were on the beach getting married before the day was over,” Lee wrote in the autobiography.
But nothing about their quickly put together nuptials was in the ordinary.
While traditionally partners will trade rings in the wedding procession, Pam and Tommy opted for something “more permanent” the musician revealed.

The loved-up pair decided to make their love eternal with tattoos of each other’s names on their ring fingers as makeshift wedding bands.
Anderson later opened up to The New York Post about the unconventional detail in her first wedding to Lee, where she got ‘Tommy’ tattooed on her left finger.
According to the Playboy model, she chose to show her marital commitment through ink instead of a diamond as she doesn’t like jewelry.

“The size of the stone is really about the man’s ego over his little thing,” she told the outlet.
Anderson recalls in the Netflix documentary, Pamela, A Love Story, that the wedding itself was a “big, happy blur” after she took drugs in her champagne.
“We felt pretty invincible,” she said.
The couple then headed to their honeymoon at Lake Mead where they would film the infamous sex tape that would be leaked less than a year later.
The pair would later divorce in 1998 after Lee was charged with felony spousal abuse.
While they would briefly reconcile in 2008, their rekindled romance was short lived as Pam and Tommy ended their romantic relationship for good by the next year.
They share two sons together, Brandon and Dylan.
