ARSENAL fans have been left brimming with excitement about the next emerging talent from their academy.
The Gunners are currently spearheaded by Hale End product Bukayo Saka, but could soon have another Premier League star on their hands in the next few years.
Arsenal prodigy Chido Obi-Martin scored ten goals against Liverpool
Fans could not help but be excited about the teenagers future
That is after 15-year-old Chido Obi-Martin scored TEN goals in one game for Arsenal Under 16s.
The teenager bagged them in a thrilling 14-3 win over Liverpool on Saturday.
Obi-Martin has already featured for Arsenal’s U18’s, U19’s and U21’s.
However, he dropped down to the U16’s due to none of the other sides having games this weekend.
His talent has already seen him land a scholarship with the North London club next season.
He has even had a taste of Mikel Arteta‘s standards in the first-team after he was allowed to join them in training.
Obi-Martin previously watched Ethan Nwaneri become the Premier League’s youngest ever player when he was handed his debut by Arteta aged 15 years, five months and 28 days old against Brentford.
While he won’t be able to beat that record with his 16th birthday coming later this month, he will hope to follow in the footsteps of his predecessors.
